Motion Swap

Motion Swap transfers the human motion from a reference video onto a character in your avatar image. Credits are charged per second of the reference video (minimum 3 s, maximum 30 s), so a 10 s driving clip costs 40 credits at 720p.
How to use Motion Swap
- 1Navigate to Create → Motion Swap in the sidebar.
- 2Upload a driving video (MP4 or MOV, 3–30 s) — this video defines the motion that will be applied to your avatar. The credit cost is calculated automatically from the video duration.
- 3Select an avatar: choose a saved avatar from your Avatars library, or upload a new reference image directly (JPG, PNG, max 10 MB). The character in this image will be animated.
- 4Toggle 'Keep Original Sound' on or off to control whether the audio from the driving video is preserved in the output.
- 5Click Generate. The job is queued and typically completes in 2–4 minutes.
- 6The output video shows your avatar performing the motion from the driving video.
Best practices
- Use a clear, front-facing avatar image showing the full upper body or full body — avoid extreme orientations (upside down, lying flat)
- The driving video should feature a single person with clear, steady motion — avoid camera cuts, fast motion, or scene transitions
- Keep the driving video between 5–15 s for best results; very short or very long clips may reduce motion quality
- Trim your driving video to exactly the section of motion you want before uploading
Save frequently-used avatar photos in the Avatars section so you can re-select them across multiple Motion Swap jobs without re-uploading each time.
