Terms of Service

By accessing or using StandIn Labs (the "Service"), including any website, application, or API operated by StandIn Labs ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 18 years old to use StandIn Labs. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to minors.

You may create an account using your email and password or by signing in with Google. When you use Google Sign-In, you authorize Google to share your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) with StandIn Labs for account creation and identification purposes only.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@standinlabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.

You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or restrictions.

Credits are the in-platform currency used to generate content. They work as follows:

• Plan credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle and reset monthly. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
• Top-up credits are purchased separately and never expire. They are consumed after plan credits are exhausted.
• Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.
• Credit costs for each generation type are listed on the Pricing page and in the app. We reserve the right to adjust credit costs with reasonable notice.
• If a generation job fails due to a platform error (not user error), credits consumed will be automatically refunded to your account.

You agree not to use StandIn Labs to generate, distribute, or promote:

• Non-consensual deepfakes — AI-generated content depicting a real person without their explicit, informed consent
• CSAM or any content sexualizing minors — this will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities
• Impersonation — content designed to deceive others into believing it was created by or depicts a specific real person without their consent
• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of your target audience
• Harassment, hate speech, or content targeting individuals based on protected characteristics
• Misinformation or propaganda designed to deceive at scale
• Spam or unsolicited commercial content posted via our scheduler

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

AI generation is inherently non-deterministic. We do not guarantee that generated outputs will match your expectations or be free of imperfections. Generated content may occasionally contain artifacts, errors, or unintended elements. Credits are consumed when a generation job is submitted and processed, regardless of the subjective quality of the output.

You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing or distributing it. Do not publish content that is inaccurate, misleading, or harmful without appropriate disclosure.

By connecting Instagram or TikTok to your account, you authorize StandIn Labs to publish content on your behalf at scheduled times. You are fully responsible for all content posted through the scheduler. StandIn Labs is not liable for any account suspension, content removal, or penalties imposed by Instagram or TikTok arising from your use of our scheduling feature.

Platform policies change — it is your responsibility to ensure your scheduled content complies with the terms of Instagram and TikTok at the time of posting.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party API outages, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate planned downtime in advance when possible.

Generation queues may vary in speed depending on system load. Paid plans with priority queue access will be processed before free tier requests where possible.

The StandIn Labs platform, brand, interface, and underlying technology are owned by StandIn Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse engineer any part of the platform.

"StandIn Labs", the StandIn Labs logo, and related marks are trademarks of StandIn Labs. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StandIn Labs shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the Service
• Third-party actions or content — including actions taken by Instagram or TikTok on your account
• Quality or accuracy of AI-generated outputs

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms, especially the prohibited use rules
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Activity that may harm the platform or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law. Top-up credits are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
